What the number means
A worked number: at 96% RTP, Tk 100 spins cost Tk 4 each on average. 500 spins, about Tk 50,000 in bets, cost about Tk 2,000 on average. Any single session can be far above or below that; RTP describes the long run.
One slot, several RTPs
Many studios supply the same slot in several RTP versions, for example 96%, 94% and 92%, and the casino chooses which to run. The game looks identical. Open the info or rules screen inside the game to see the version you are playing.
Typical figures
| Game | RTP |
|---|---|
| Starburst (NetEnt) | 96.09% |
| Book of Dead (Play'n GO), top version | 96.21% |
| European roulette | 97.30% |
| Blackjack, basic strategy | about 99.5% |
| Mega Moolah (progressive jackpot) | about 88% |
Progressive jackpot slots have low base RTPs because part of each bet funds the jackpot.
RTP and volatility
Volatility describes how wins are spread. Two 96% slots can feel completely different: one pays small amounts often, the other pays rarely and big. Choose volatility to suit your budget, and RTP to keep the average cost low.
RTP and bonuses
Bonus wagering multiplies the effect of RTP. Clearing Tk 10,000 at 35x on a 96% slot costs about Tk 14,000; on a 94% version, about Tk 21,000. See sticky and non-sticky bonuses.
